Longtime Customer, Disappointing Decline in Quality "I have been a loyal Francis Valentine customer for more than 10 years and own well over 70 pieces, including several caftans. In fact, Francis Valentine has long been one of my favorite brands, which makes writing this review particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, the quality of this caftan does not compare to the pieces I have purchased in the past. The fabric is noticeably thinner, to the point of being nearly see-through, and lacks the substantial feel that originally drew me to the brand. Previous caftans I purchased were beautifully constructed, often lined, and made from fabric that felt luxurious and well worth the investment. I even compared the fabric content label to older pieces in my closet and noticed differences in the cotton composition. While styles and fabrics naturally evolve over time, this particular garment felt like a significant departure from the quality I have come to expect from Francis Valentine. I rarely leave negative reviews, but as a longtime customer, I felt compelled to share my honest experience. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken in the spirit in which it is intended, because I have loved and supported this brand for many years.
