For at least two years, I searched for ... "THE perfect Mary Janes. I found them this summer when I fell in love with Frances Valentine! They are brilliantly crafted to be very comfortable; the sole is substantial and the heel is sturdy. The shoe breathes, because the leather is so supple; the strap is not the treensiest bit confining because the grosgrain ribbon bow straps "give" as your feet move. The day the pair of Judes made their maiden voyage on my feet I wore a thin pair of trouser socks, and the size I selected was perfectly accommodating.
