We offer returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase.

Exchanges and in-store returns are always free. Online returns cost $14 for our box-and-ship service or $6 for Happy Returns drop-off. Please note, Happy Return is only eligible for products $500 or less.

Please use the Frances Valentine shipping label or Happy Returns QR code provided to ensure you are refunded promptly.

All online orders must be returned separately with the return label or QR code generated for that specific order - orders may not be shipped back together.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are not eligible for return or exchange.

To ensure you receive your full refund, your items must meet the following requirements:

  • If you have placed more than one order, it is important that you ship the items connected with the original order back together. You may not combine the items placed in separate orders.
  • Merchandise must not be worn, washed, or altered. We will not issue refunds on items that are not in new condition.
  • Merchandise must have all tags attached and be in original packaging.
  • Frances Valentine shoes must include the original shoe box in its original condition: restocking fees are charged when footwear is returned in a damaged shoe box or without the original shoe box.

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not eligible for return or exchange.

Items purchased at department stores, boutiques, or any other retailers carrying Frances Valentine merchandise cannot be returned to francesvalentine.com.

Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for exchange or return.

Please note that we do not offer international shipping or returns. If you choose to use a third-party forwarding service to receive your order outside of the U.S., you do so at your own risk.

Please allow 10-14 days from the time your return is delivered to receive your refund, depending on the financial institution.

Please note Final Sale items are not eligible for exchange.

You are only able to exchange once per order.

If you would like your exchange order to begin processing at submission, please select instant exchange. A $1 hold will be placed on your credit card at the time the order is placed. If the exchange order is not returned within 14 days your credit card will be charged for the full instant exchange order total.

Final sale items cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or store credit. No exceptions. This information is found highlighted in red on the product page, checkout page, and your order confirmation email.

Gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Please ensure you are purchasing the correct amount and recipient before completing your order.

For free quick returns and exchanges, bring your invoice or receipt (required) to any Frances Valentine store. If you have purchased in-store and return to a location without a store near you, please reach out to our customer service team who can provide you with a label to ship back to our warehouse.

Additionally we offer returns through Happy Returns. These returns can be dropped off at any Happy Returns Bar location without your box and will incur a $6 return fee.

Lastly we offer standard box and ship returns. These items can be repackaged and sent back with the prepaid label generated at the time of the return request. Box and ship returns incur a $14 return fee.

We have partnered with Happy Returns to offer printer-free, package-free, and sustainable returns and exchanges. Simply start your return via our online portal and opt to drop off your return at a Happy Returns location!

Each cardboard-free return reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 0.12 lbs per item returned.

Your refund or exchange will be processed within 24 hours after dropoff at a Return Bar.
